Welcome to Lance Regan's paintings website
Lance Regan was born in British Columbia, residing at the Coast before making his home in the Interior. His paintings are a collection of the landscapes and seascapes of places he has visited in this beautiful province. His vineyard scenes of the Okanagan are becoming a signature of his work and Lance’s painting of the vineyard valley south of Okanagan Falls is featured on the 2010 Okanagan Spring Wine Festival Brochure. He also has numerous paintings of the Naramata Benches, Blue Mountain Vineyards, Wild Goose Vineyards and Noble Ridge Vineyards, as well as lakes and mountain scenes of the Interior of BC. His paintings are alive with energy and colour and one can see the influences of Van Gogh, The Group of Seven and Robert Genn.
Lance frequently travels to Vancouver Island. His West Coast Paintings capture the raw shorelines including China Beach, Gordon’s Beach and Otter Point to mention a few. Sooke Harbour is also featured along with fishing boats and the famous Whiffenspit.
When Lance is not painting he is often studying jazz on his piano. His love for improvising music is reflected in his impressionistic paintings. One can often see the harmony of colours and lines that flow through his work, like a beautiful piece of music.
